Welcome to ClikOnce Limited

The company was originally started in October 1996 by Craig Robins.
Craig started as a Sole Trader trading under the name CWR Computer Support.

Craig had recently returned from the United Kingdom, where he was working as a computer support engineer for a large Telecommunications Company, Nortel.

Nortel employed over 56,000 people worldwide and Craig was part of a small team supporting Nortel's Macintosh computer systems in Maidenhead, Berkshire. He was responsible for the day to day end user support for 1400 users spread across several buildings/sites.

Upon returning to New Zealand, Craig realised there was a need for the same level of computer support for small to medium businesses that was common place in large corporate companies. Craig started CWR Computer Support to offer support and advice to companies that weren't large enough to employ a full time computer expert in-house. His business model was to always treat each customer/company as though he was an employee of the company, keeping the companies best interest at heart at all times.

As Craig had a background in software development it soon become clear, that there was also a need for a good business management software solution for the small to medium businesses in New Zealand.

At the time, most companies were using a combination of Word, Excel and a single user Accounting Package like MYOB. Craig recognised the need for an all in one solution like SAP, so he started work on Total Control a complete business management package for the small to medium business. By this time word had got around about the services offered by CWR Computer Support and Craig had started developing software solutions for several larger clients, including Tip Top Ice Cream, Sleepyhead and Lion Nathan.

CWR Computer Support quickly grew and it wasn't long before the phone was ringing constantly with new business referrals.

It was time to enlist the help of others and the company took on it's first Employee in 1999.

On the 1st of April 2000, CWR Computer Support become ClikOnce Limited.
